About Me: I'm the same as I ever was...
I have been a professional artist since graduating from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Ca. in 1985. The focus of the training was classical drawing, painting, design, color theory, lettering and perspective. I concentrated with independent study my senior year on advanced color theory, rendering, and head and hand drawing, majoring in Illustration.
After freelancing as an Illustrator in NYC for 2 years, I moved to Dallas where I have worked in both the commercial and fine art fields ever since.
My commercial painting has been used in TV shows, Hotels, Theater, Interior Design, and Advertising. I deliver great results, on time, within budget, with creativity, integrity, nerves of steel, and a sense of humor. I enjoy the challenges presented when painting commercially : the seemingly impossible deadlines, and the occasional general panic of customers. I proudly use high quality professional grade materials, because I know from experience that it matters in terms of color, durability, and longevity.
